The building was constructed according to the Art Deco philosophy—a design and architectural movement that flourished worldwide between 1920 and 1939, symbolizing modernity, opulence, and technological progress following World War I.
The apartment occupies a full floor of a 1933 heritage building on Diagonal Norte, one block from the Obelisk. The building's French-style facade features carved stone lions, dragons and fantastical creatures. The lobby has black and white marble floors, leaded diamond-pane stained glass, two original black accordion elevators and a wrought iron lantern.

The apartment is in Microcentro, the heart of Buenos Aires, one block from the Obelisk on Diagonal Norte.
Transportation: Carlos Pellegrini (Line B), Diagonal Norte (Line C) and 9 de Julio (Line D) subway stations are 1-2 blocks away. The 9 de Julio Metrobus stops right outside. All downtown bus routes.
Theaters and culture: Corrientes, the Buenos Aires Broadway, is 1 block away. Gran Rex, Opera, Metropolitan and Lola Membrives theaters. Historic cinemas and bookstores steps away.
Dining: Starbucks on the building's ground floor. Historic pizzerias like Guerrin, Las Cuartetas and Banchero just blocks away. Cafes, steakhouses and restaurants in every direction.

The elevators are original from 1933. Please use them carefully, maximum 2 people per trip.
Any violation of the building's rules will be charged to the guest.
Guests have full access to the apartment, including all 3 bedrooms, kitchen-dining room, full bathroom, half bathroom and hallway. You also have access to the building's rooftop terrace with Obelisk views: take the elevator to the 8th floor and walk up one flight of stairs. The building has a doorman and two elevators.
